Description
The M16A1 Rifle was the standard-issue firearm for U.S. troops during the Vietnam War and became one of the most recognizable military rifles in history. Introduced in the 1960s, the M16A1 replaced the M14, offering soldiers a lightweight, high-capacity, and fully automatic weapon ideal for jungle warfare. Over the decades, it evolved into modern variants still used by military forces worldwide.
